Chocolate Works, York

Peacock + Smith secured full planning and listed building consent approvals to convert the vacant, derelict factory to deliver the ‘Chocolate Works Care Village’.  The development is housed in the former headquarters of the world-renowned Terry’s of York chocolate factory.

This landmark building is Grade II listed and after a number of years lying unused it has been brought back to life through the extraordinary vision of Springfield Healthcare CEO Graeme Lee and his extensive team of architects (Norr), builders (Simpsons of York) and restoration specialists.
