Furlong Road, Tunstall

On behalf of Westchurch Homes, Peacock + Smith submitted a full planning application for the development of a 100% affordable housing scheme comprising of 44 dwellings on Furling Road, Tunstall.

Key planning challenges involved the mitigation of flood risk, heritage, ecological and highways concerns and the provision of proposed public transport.

Peacock + Smith advised from the development’s inception, guiding the client through mitigation actions and overcoming planning barriers to facilitate development on a brownfield site. A Planning Statement and Green Space Assessment were produced alongside the submission of a full planning application on behalf of the client.
