Grove House, Harrogate

Peacock + Smith was instructed by Springfield Healthcare Group to pursue a full planning and listed building consent for the development of a 62 bedroom care home, and the change of use, including external alterations, to Grove House (Grade II* Listed) to form 24 care apartments, along with the development of eight two storey dwellings and associated works.

Detailed planning application was submitted April 2018 and required extensive discussion with both the Council and Historic England.  A detailed viability study was required to help demonstrate the heritage case for optimal viable use.
