Peacock + Smith secured a planning permission to refurbish a Victorian property falling within a conservation area with a mixed-use scheme comprising a restaurant on ground and basement floors with outdoor terracing and the creation of two self-contained up-market penthouses with private terraces on the upper floors. The contentious scheme incorporated a two-storey rear extension neighbouring a burial ground designated as a ‘Site of Nature Conservation Importance’.
