Peacock + Smith was successful in securing permission (on appeal) for a proposed residential development outside the development limit of Knaresborough.  The key challenges encountered with the project involved settlement development limit issues, access, ecology and in particular an interim policy that the Council operated in relation to housing mix.

Peacock + Smith pursued an appeal on non-determination (Public Inquiry) and in the light of the successful appeal decision the Council significantly relaxed its approach towards housing mix on all residential schemes.
