Peacock + Smith secured resolution to approve full planning permission subject to a S106 agreement for 291 dwellings at the Morton Dairies site, Kenyons Lane, Lydiate.
The site is a key allocated site within both the Local Plan and the local Neighbourhood Plan. The site specific policies outlined in detail how the two Council’s would like to see the development designed. The approved scheme proposes 291 dwellings, including 88 affordable homes, along with a range of ancillary development including a couple of areas of public open space including play facilities and tree lined boulevards
Peacock + Smith acted as the planning agent, provided the supporting planning justification and led the team in securing permission including extensive discussions with both the LPA and the local Parish Council.
