Rhodesia, Worksop

Peacock + Smith secured full planning permission on appeal for the development of 128 dwellings on a greenfield site in Rhodesia, Workshop (Bassetlaw DC). The proposals provide for a wide mix of housing (2/3/4 bed houses). The key issues that were addressed during the appeal were the impact on primary school infrastructure and the effect on the safe and efficient operation of the highway network. With support from consultants P+S were able to demonstrate that there would be adequate school places for the development within existing schools; and that the impacts on traffic would not be severe.
