Scarborough Road, Bridlington

Peacock + Smith secured outline planning permission in December 2023 on behalf of Keyland Developments Ltd for up to 126 affordable dwellings on the edge of Bridlington.

Working with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Peacock and Smith demonstrated that the site is a logical extension to the settlement and will make a significant contribution to the Council’s shortfall of affordable housing. It was also accepted that – with suitable mitigation measures in place – the designated Source Protection Zone (SPZ) will be adequately protected.
