Tunstall, Stoke on Trent
Peacock + Smith secured planning permission for a comprehensive redevelopment of the former Johnson Tiles factory site for a new large supermarket and 9,290 sq m (100,000 sq ft) retail park with ancillary food and drink offer including public house and coffee shops.
The site was an unsightly and unproductive area of brownfield land within Tunstall, which the scheme would bring much needed regeneration to and provided enhanced facilities to the community in a sustainable location.
Peacock + Smith were instructed to undertake the detailed retail assessment and act as planning consultant to prepare and submit the planning application to deliver this challenging scheme, along with responding to all technical objectors.
