Peacock + Smith (London office) have recently submitted a planning application to Camden Council in relation to the former Bird in Hand Pub, West End Lane.

The application proposes a change of use and the refurbishment of the former Bird in Hand Public House to provide a family dwelling, and the development of a five-storey apartment block to the rear, providing nine flats. Peacock + Smith undertook lengthy pre-application discussions with Camden Council during 2020 and 2021, which included Design Panel Review.

The scheme, designed by Metashape Architects, also required the involvement of a range of specialist consultants owing to issues such as flooding, archaeology, energy, air quality, as well as sunlight and daylight.
