Ed Kemsley

Ed has worked for Peacock + Smith since 2005 and was appointed as a Director in 2013. Originally working from our Leeds office, Ed relocated to our London office in 2011. He started working in the planning profession in 2000 working in the public sector before joining Peacock + Smith.

Ed works for a range of private sector clients on a variety of projects including major residential, mixed-use developments, retail, employment and commercial. His experience includes planning applications, appeals, site appraisals, planning strategies, economic and retail assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments and the co-ordination of teams to manage projects throughout the development planning process. He is also experienced in public consultation and has successfully engaged with local communities and pressure groups through public exhibitions and public meetings.

Ed has successfully represented clients at Public Inquiries, Informal Hearings and through Written representations appeals. He has also appeared as Expert Witness as part of Expert Determination Hearings.
